TEAC 259: Smart Board Lesson

Life with Jennifer

I am a single mom with two daughters. My oldest is 4 years old and my youngest is 2 years old. My philosophy is "when life gives you lemons, make lemonade." I have worked in child care for over a decade and enjoy it, but it doesn't pay enough to support a family of 3 on my own. So now I am a full time student at UNL earning my MA in Early Childhood Special Education. I am earning my initial teaching certificate in preschool disabilities so I can work with birth to 5 year olds. This plan allows me to continue in the field I've been working in, but to get paid more money for doing it!
